Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your Aalay account and all of your data at any time. Here's how, and exactly what gets removed.

Delete from the app

1. Open the Aalay app and sign in.
2. Open your shelf (the My Shelf tab) and tap the settings gear in the top-right corner.
3. Tap Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and submit.

Your account is then scheduled for deletion. There is a 30-day grace period: sign back into the app any time before it ends and tap Keep account to cancel. After 30 days everything below is permanently erased and cannot be recovered.

Can't open the app?

If you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in, email admin@aalay.app from the address associated with your account and we'll process your deletion request.

What gets deleted

• Your profile — handle, name, bio and skin profile
• Your shelves and the products on them
• Your routines and their steps
• Your product reviews and comments
• Your follows — people you follow and who follow you
• Your activity-feed events and affiliate-click history
• Photos you uploaded privately, and your generated share cards

Shared catalogue information (product names and public catalogue images that other people also use) is not personal data and is retained, with your contribution de-attributed.
