Community Guidelines
Effective 26 June 2026
Aalay is a place to share the skincare you actually use. These guidelines apply to everything you post — profiles, shelves, routines, reviews, comments and photos.
Don't post
- Harassment or bullying — targeting, threatening or demeaning others.
- Hate speech — attacks based on identity (race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, etc.).
- Sexual or explicit content — nudity, pornography, or sexual solicitation.
- Violence or graphic content — gore, self-harm, or content that promotes harm.
- Illegal goods or activity — including counterfeit products and unsafe DIY medical claims.
- Spam or scams — repetitive, misleading, or fraudulent posts and links.
- Misinformation — false or dangerous health/skincare claims presented as fact.
- Impersonation — pretending to be someone else or a brand you don't represent.
- Privacy & IP violations — others' personal information, or content you don't have the rights to.
Skincare opinions and reviews are personal experience, not medical advice. Don't present claims as professional or dermatological guidance.
Reporting & enforcement
You can report any comment, review, photo or user from inside the app, and block users so you no longer see each other. We review reports and aim to act within about 24 hours — hiding or removing content and, for serious or repeated violations, suspending or deleting accounts.
